Calix: Enhancements to the Intelligent Access EDGE Solution

Calix's E7-2 XG1601 and E9-2 XG3201 Line Cards, part of the Intelligent Access EDGE (IAE) solution, support high-density anyPON-based services across all deployment environments.

Broadband Service Providers (BSPs) are looking to ensure their networks are ready to meet the demands of subscribers for increased bandwidth and advanced services. Calix's E7-2 XG1601 and E9-2 XG3201 Line Cards, part of the Intelligent Access EDGE (IAE) solution, make this possible by supporting high-density anyPON-based services across all deployment environments. IAE comprises three components: IAE Systems, IAE Software, and Calix Cloud. The XG1601 is used with the AXOS E7-2 system. XG3201 is used with the AXOS e9-2 system for data centers serving larger subscriber-density areas. Both are critical components of the rapidly expanding family of Intelligent Access EDGE (IAE) systems capable of supporting centralized and decentralized network architectures deployed in data centers, central offices, headend, or remote cabinets.
