Lightower expands services in Telx's Clifton, New Jersey colocation facility

MARCH 31, 2010 -- Telx, an interconnection and colocation provider in strategic North American markets, announced that Lightower Fiber Networks, a metro fiber network, bandwidth, and colocation service provider serving the northeast United States, is expanding its network services into the 100 Delawanna Ave. colocation facility in Clifton, N.J.

The expansion will accommodate growing demand by Telx customers for high-bandwidth Ethernet, wavelengths, and dark fiber service. Lightower's expansion will increase capacity at the location, while offering Telx's colocation customers optimized routes from 100 Delawanna Ave. to other N.J. and N.Y. Metro data centers and financial exchanges.

Telx's 24,000 square-feet of colocation space at 100 Delawanna Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey, located 11 miles outside of New York City, is becoming a premier address for financial services colocation and interconnection services, says a company representative.

The location offers customers the ability to lease private cages and cabinets, with direct access to more than 400 carriers, business exchanges, and enterprises through a single cross-connection.
