Homeland to deploy Electroline optical gear in Florida HFC network

Homeland Optical Technology of Ocala, FL has ordered optical network equipment from Electroline to build a hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) network to serve the community of Ocala Palms.

Homeland Optical Technology of Ocala, FL has ordered optical network equipment from Electroline to build a hybrid fiber/coax (HFC) network to serve the community of Ocala Palms. The network will provide voice, video, and data services to subscriber’s using Electroline’s ELINK Platform including its 3RU system of optical transmitters, receivers and amplifiers.

Homeland also will deploy Electroline’s EON four-port, segmentable optical node and DOCSIS-based status monitoring transponder.
