24/7 to connect dark fiber backbone to CoreSite DC1 data center

Fiber-optic network service provider 24/7 Mid-Atlantic Network has agreed to extend its dark fiber backbone into CoreSite Realty Corp.'s (NYSE: COR) DC1 facility in downtown Washington, DC. The fiber cable connection will provide CoreSite customers with new options for interconnectivity to carriers, service providers, and enterprises throughout the U.S. Mid-Atlantic.

Fiber-optic network service provider 24/7 Mid-Atlantic Network has agreed to extend its dark fiber backbone into CoreSite Realty Corp.'s (NYSE: COR) DC1 facility in downtown Washington, DC. The fiber cable connection will provide CoreSite customers with new options for interconnectivity to carriers, service providers, and enterprises throughout the U.S. Mid-Atlantic.

24/7 Mid-Atlantic provides custom optical transport and network services—including metro dark fiber, mobile backhaul, last-mile transport, private fiber networks, and carrier-neutral colocation—to customers across the Baltimore; Washington, DC, metro; Northern Virginia; and Delmarva Peninsula areas. In addition to the benefits the new connection will offer CoreSite customer, 24/7’s customers with have access to the CoreSite Mesh, Coresite’s capacity, and connectivity fabric.
