EXFO intros laboratory test suite

EXFO Inc. (NASDAQ: EXFO, TSX: EXF) has unveiled a suite of test and measurement technology for network systems vendors' laboratory applications. The offering combines the new LTB-8 Rackmount Platform, the FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer 100G Multiservice Test Module, and the web-based EXFO MultiLink lab test management system.

EXFO Inc. (NASDAQ: EXFO, TSX: EXF) has unveiled a suite of test and measurement technology for network systems vendors' laboratory applications. The offering combines the new LTB-8 Rackmount Platform, the FTBx-88200NGE Power Blazer 100G Multiservice Test Module, and the web-based EXFO MultiLink lab test management system.

The LTB-8 is designed to be scalable and compact, with what EXFO asserts is the highest 100G port density available. The eight-slot configuration supports simultaneously testing of eight 100G modules and multiple interface test combinations. The platform offers what EXFO describes as "a full suite of lab testing features" applicable to system design, development, and deployment testing.

Technicians can have remote access to the LTB-8 remote access via EXFO MultiLink. The web-based lab test management system offers multi-user interfaces for remote access to multiple modules and multiple platforms in multiple locations.

Within the LTB-8, the newest member of the Power Blazer family, the FTBx-88200NGE, offers integrated CFP4 and QSFP+/QSFP28 interfaces for 100G applications, along with an SFP+ port. It supplies the necessary test capabilities for 10G to 100G product development and verification, including multistage ODU multiplexing, multichannel Optical Transport Network (OTN), and troubleshooting. The module also can be installed in EXFO's handheld FTB-2 Pro platform for applications that require instrument portability, including field applications.

Technicians can enjoy further flexibility through time-based licenses of the TFv (Test Function Virtualization) and FTB OnDemand software options, EXFO adds.
