Connectivity from any Sparkle point of presence (PoP) to France-IX through an improved VNAP will also be available to customers worldwide. VNAP includes virtual router accessibility, an Ethernet port, and inclusion in the peering community in a single package, says the operator.

Sparkle says its Ethernet Suite services will meet customers demand for connectivity to global cloud players, telehouses, data centers, or global customer premises as well.

France-IX customers will benefit from Sparkle's Tier-1 IP backbone's presence across the world. Sparkle also serves the Palermo, Italy hub via Seabone (see "Sparkle buys capacity on Flag Atlantic-1, SEA-ME-WE-5 submarine networks").
