tw telecom offers service in Philadelphia metro area

tw telecom (NASDAQ: TWTC says it has expanded its nationwide network in Philadelphia. The company is now able to deploy its portfolio of data and Internet services to more enterprises in the Philadelphia metro area.

tw telecom (NASDAQ: TWTC says it has expanded its nationwide network in Philadelphia. The company is now able to deploy its portfolio of data and Internet services to more enterprises in the Philadelphia metro area.

Philadelphia businesses now have access to tw telecom's Business Ethernet, Intelligent Network, and IP networking products as well as its ecosystem of on-net data centers. Service is now available in select data centers to customers at:

  • Amerimar, 401 North Broad Street
  • Digital Realty Data Center, 833 Chestnut Street
  • Tierpoint, 4775 League Island Blvd.
  • Xand Data Center, 1000 Adams Ave., Norristown.

"As our customers implement robust networking and cloud solutions to facilitate business growth, security and reliability are keys to their success."

The Philadelphia expansion is part of an ongoing effort by the company to expand its metro fiber footprint across the country this year (see "tw telecom announces expansion plans"). In addition to Philadelphia, tw telecom has already entered into two other new markets – Salt Lake City and Richmond, VA – and plans to expand into two additional new markets – Cleveland and Boston – this year.
