Vyve Broadband says it recently completed "tuck-in" acquisitions of certain assets of Reach Broadband and all the assets of Lakeview Cable in Oklahoma. The acquisitions in Eufaula, Cache, Pecan Valley, and surrounding communities will add 7,000 homes passed to its footprint, increasing Vyve’s coverage in the state to approximately 310,000.

The cable MSO was founded in 2012 to serve "non-urban markets" and immediately embarked on an aggressive acquisition strategy, beginning with certain assets of Allegiance Communications and James Cable 2013. The company serves customers in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Colorado, and Wyoming.

The recent Oklahoma footprint extensions complement ongoing infrastructure upgrades in the state. The new network systems will be upgraded to deliver broadband speeds of up to 105 Mbps as well as all-digital video technology and an enhanced voice platform. Similar upgrades are underway in other parts of Vyve’s service territory. Such services are currently available to Vyve customers in Shawnee, McAlester, and Durant, OK; Waycross and Douglas, GA; New Boston, TX; and Ottawa and Ft. Riley, KS.

"Vyve is laser-focused on creating customer experiences that are unequaled in broadband speed and entertainment value," said Jeffrey DeMond, chief executive officer for Vyve Broadband. "With a Vyve Broadband connection, customers will have access to the wide array of content choices they deserve."
