TransUnion fibers new data center via CommScope multimode fiber

Credit and information management company TransUnion has installed elements of the SYSTIMAX end-to-end connectivity line from CommScope (NASDAQ: COMM) in its new Northlake, IL, data center, the cabling and connectivity vendor reports.

The new data center is located within the recently opened CH2 data center facility owned by Carter Validus Critical REIT and operated by Ascent. TransUnion has installed CommScope's SYSTIMAX InstaPATCH 360 pre-terminated fiber connectivity products, based on the company's LazrSPEED multimode fiber. The fiber-optic cable infrastructure can support 10-Gbps transmission today while providing easy migration to support of 40 Gbps and 100 Gbps in the future, CommScope says.
