Senko offers power, fiber support with IP-ONE hybrid connector

Senko Advanced Component has unveiled the IP-ONE, a hybrid connector designed to provide simultaneous power and optical connectivity to remote equipment in harsh environmental applications.

Senko Advanced Component has unveiled the IP-ONE, a hybrid connector designed to provide simultaneous power and optical connectivity to remote equipment in harsh environmental applications.

The company says its IP-ONE power and fiber-optic connector reduces material cost and simplifies installation. The connector can be used in front-haul, mobile backhaul, DAS, and FTTx deployments, Senko says.

Besides the hybrid capability, key features include:

  • Availability of LC duplex and MPO variants
  • IP-68 rated
  • Senko Safe Lock (patent pending)
  • Power delivery over distances greater than 1 km.
