New York metro fiber-optic network services provider Axiom Fiber Networks has established a point of presence (PoP) at the 325 Hudson carrier hotel and Meet Me Room provider in New York City. The facility is operated by the newly formed Netrality Properties (see "Netrality Properties to offer meet me rooms with no monthly cross-connect charges").

Axiom Fiber Networks plans to use the PoP to provide 325 Hudson tenants with fiber network diversity. The relatively new network operator has created a fiber network to offer dark fiber and related connectivity services to a variety of carrier hotels.

"325 Hudson is among the world's top carrier hotels and was a first priority in the initial stages of deployment for Axiom Fiber Networks," comments Felipe Alvarez, Axiom's CEO. "Axiom Fiber offers diversity with our 864 strands of next-generation fiber into 325 Hudson's Meet Me Room. Establishing a PoP at 325 Hudson enables access to the major regional, national and international carriers."
