Zayo Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:ZAYO) says it has won a three-year agreement to supply Peak Hosting with fiber-optic network connectivity between the operations-as-a -service company's five data centers in the U.S. and Europe.

Peak Hosting supplies the design, maintenance, and technical operations staff required to support its customers' data center operations. Its AlwaysUp Architecture comprises a fully redundant data center environment.

"Providing our customers with geographically dispersed data centers that can scale rapidly is critical to fulfilling our promise to our customers of 'what's the most that we can do' to meet their hosting requirements and allow them to focus on their core competencies," said Jeffrey Papen, CEO and founder of Peak Hosting. "We chose to work with Zayo for our connectivity solution as it was able to provide the quality solutions that we required on a timeline that met our needs. The diverse circuits Zayo provided gives us room to grow, and we look forward to providing our customers with Zayo connectivity."

The agreement calls for Zayo to supply dark fiber connectivity across more than 30 route miles between Peak Hosting's three Bay Area sites. Zayo also will provide Ethernet connectivity among Peak Hosting's data centers in Ashburn, VA, Dallas, TX, and Santa Clara, CA. The company also will supply 6-Gbps of IP connectivity to these data centers, as well as to sites in Amsterdam and Milpitas, CA. Finally, Zayo has installed 10-Gbps of dedicated Internet access (DIA) ports in all five data centers to further promote flexibility.
