As part of its review of its operations, Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) has decided to cease the manufacture of communications cables. The operations are part of the company’s Networks business unit.

AFL says it has expanded its One-Click Cleaner product line with the One-Click Cleaner MPO. The new product, part of AFL’s NOYES cleaning product line, is aimed at data center personnel.

Clearfield, Inc. (NASDAQ:CLFD) has introduced its latest addition to the FieldSmart fiber enclosure line, the FieldSmart Fiber Delivery Point (FDP) KIS Outdoor Enclosure. Leviton has unveiled the Opt-X HD Fiber Enclosure System, designed to increase fiber density by as much as 50% within the same rack space. A member of the company’s Opt-X line of fiber optic connectivity products, the system includes high-density enclosures, MTP cassettes, and adapter plates.
