Datwyler upgrades single-mode fiber cable lines

Datwyler has added fiber-optic cables that feature G.652.D Bend Losses Optimized (BLO) and ITU-T G.657.A2 single-mode fibers to its fiber cable portfolio. The new fibers offer smaller bending radii, improved attenuation properties, and higher transmission quality, Datwyler says.

Prysmian expands optical fiber plant in Brazil

Fiber and cable provider Prysmian Group says it has begun operations in a newly expanded optical fiber production facility in Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil. TE Connectivity offers building block approach to FTTH deployments
