Stack Infrastructure has launched as a provider of wholesale colocation, build-to-suit, and powered shell data center infrastructure services. Backed by IPI Partners, the company starts with assets in six markets, including three facilities previously by Infomart Data Centers.
The company plans to offer three categories of service:
- Hyper Stack, which supplies hyperscale campuses and build-to-suit data centers
- Ready Stack, for wholesale colocation and private data suites
- Power Stack, which are powered shell options.
The company begins with assets in Ashburn, VA, Portland, OR, and Silicon Valley formerly marketed by Infomart Data Centers that IPI bought in March 2018, plus assets in Atlanta, Chicago, and Dallas/Fort Worth that IPI already owned. Stack Infrastructure also owns development parcels in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Portland, and Silicon Valley that it can use for Hyper Stack services. The company says it plans to expand into other markets as well.

Stack’s management team includes CEO Brian Cox, Chief Revenue Officer Ty Miller, COO Donough Roche, and Senior Vice President of Construction & Development Rick Waddle. “The launch of STACK represents our collective vision, which is to address and support the full range of our clients’ critical technology infrastructure needs, both today and as they look to the future,” said Cox. “Everything we do is designed to align our offering with our clients’ growth trajectories, so that we are always evolving to provide the solutions they need in the markets where they want to be.”
