AT&T (NYSE:T) is expanding the availability of its fiber-based gigabit Internet service in parts of Atlanta; Austin, TX; and Orlando, FL.

In Atlanta, the telco's GigaPower service has been expanded to include parts of Acworth, Kennesaw, Suwanee and surrounding communities. AT&T plans to expand the network further in parts of College Park, Marietta, Powder Springs and other areas.

In Austin, the gigabit service is now available in parts of Rollingwood. The service was first launched in Austin in 2013 with 300 Mbps Internet speeds and was upgraded to 1 Gbps in 2014.

In Orlando, GigaPower has been expanded to parts of Melbourne, Ocoee and Winter Springs. Other planned expansions include Deland, Ormond Beach, Port Orange and Rockledge.
