AT&T (NYSE:T) is expanding its fiber-based U-verse with GigaPower Internet service in parts of Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, and San Antonio. The service offers broadband speeds up to 1 Gbps. The specific communities include:
Chicago: Hampshire, Munster and St. John
Dallas: Richardson
Houston: Friendswood, Pearland, Manvel and Missouri City
Miami: Coral Springs, North Miami and Tamarac
San Antonio: Converse
AT&T first launched gigabit Internet service in Austin, TX, in October 2014 and has been expanding its availability ever since.
