ADVA Forms NFV Division

ADVA Optical Networking has launched Ensemble, a strategic division and product suite focused on network functions virtualization (NFV). The division combines ADVA's software engineering capabilities and the NFV portfolio of its most recent acquisition, Overture. The Ensemble solution is intended to provide communication service providers (CSPs) with a range of choices as to how they implement NFV - choice of hardware platforms, choice of software vendors and choice of deployment locations.

ADVA will showcase the Ensemble product suite at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
