At CES 2016 in Las Vegas, KDX plans to launch K3DX, a multiscreen glasses-free 3D video technology. It's intended to make 3D content visible on computers, smartphones, displays, TVs, movies, tablets, gaming consoles, optical film and lamination.
K3DX 3D Technology provides software and hardware solutions, including lenticular (eye lens-shaped) lenses with an adjustable range and depth of visibility, tracking eye movements while in use. It's designed to be compatible with both 3D and 2D content, and to support multiple formats of input sources.
The company is also collaborating with Philips, Dolby and smartphone and tablet companies to build a global glasses-free 3D alliance.
