Shaw Building Public WiFi in BC Town

Canadian cable operator Shaw Communications (TSX:SJR.B) has signed an agreement to provide WiFi in the district of Mission, BC, population 38,000. The agreement covers access not only to Shaw subscribers, but also provides free guest access to all visitors with a WiFi enabled device.

Guest access with Shaw Go WiFi is currently available at the Mission Leisure Centre, and Shaw Go WiFi hotspots will soon be installed at several other public locations. In addition, Shaw Go WiFi will be available at the Mission Rotary Sports Park once construction of the artificial turf field is complete.
