ADTRAN (NASDAQ:ADTN) announced that Bridge Point Communications in upstate New York is the latest service provider to join the vendor's "Enabling Communities, Connecting Lives" gigabit Internet program. Bridge Point is deploying 1 Gbps services in Ticonderoga, NY.
ADTRAN's "Enabling Communities, Connecting Lives" includes WiFi and fiber-based gigabit broadband and cloud connectivity solutions. As of August, the program had more than 200 communities participating.
