AT&T (NYSE:T) has announced plans to expand its fiber-based 1 Gbps U-verse with GigaPower service in parts of Orlando and Orange County, FL. The high-speed Internet service includes a WiFi gateway and is available bundled with voice and video services, including a six-tuner DVR. The telco also offers a TV Everywhere app with 210 live TV channels and the ability to stream VOD and schedule DVR recordings.

AT&T began its gigabit push in Austin, TX, in October 2013 and has since expanded it to 15 markets. The telco also plans to offer it in parts of the Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Louis and San Antonio markets, with the goal of reaching more than 14 million residential and commercial locations.
