ZCorum Adds Support for ARRIS CMTSs

ZCorum announced that its DOCSIS return path analysis software tool, Upstream Analyzer, now supports the ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS) C4 CMTS. The initial release of the product included support for Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) CMTSs.

The software is designed to show ingress in the return-path spectrum without special equipment, and without the need to be at the headend. Upstream Analyzer uses technology from Nimble This and CableLabs to collect and display the upstream spectrum data directly from the CMTS. ZCorum is showcasing the Upstream Analyzer and its other DOCSIS network management tools in Boston at the NCTC Independent Show.
