German cable operator Kabel Deutschland has chosen S3 Group to automate the testing of multiscreen services across CPE platforms, including Apple iOS and Google's Android OS devices. The agreement is an expansion of the use of Development Center by KDG. The video test automation platform is currently used for service validation in both test and production environments.
KDG will use StormTest Development Center to integrate the testing of its TV services, including mobile video applications, into its test framework. KDG plans to improve its testing efficiency by adopting advanced Development Center features to enable the same test script to be run across its different consumer devices, and to streamline error resolution by capturing results in a consistent manner across platforms.
