Alticast is demonstrating its cloud-based multiscreen video and RDK solutions at the ANGA COM 2015 in Cologne, Germany. Product demonstrations at the show include the AltiPlex Cloud Services Platform (CSP), AltiView 1 UX, Alticast Application Framework, and Collaborative Development Environment (CDE) for code integration.
Alticast's AltiPlex Cloud Services Platform (CSP) is designed to provide core cloud solutions for handling users, devices, metadata, advertising, big-data support and billing system integration, with a web-based management console. AltiPlex CSP is component based, so operators can deploy the entire solution or integrate specific components into their service. Available components include the dynamic Cloud UI solution, which is designed to enable a user experience (UX) on both legacy and new set-top boxes. The Cloud UI can also provide multiple UIs to different devices in a household, as well as cloud DVR.
