Telstra Taps Ericsson for Managed CDN

In response to demand growth in IP video, Telstra will be the first operator in the world to deploy the Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) Media Delivery Network solution as a managed CDN service. The deployment is intended to provide capacity for growth in IP video from the media properties owned and served by the Telstra network. Telstra and Ericsson will work collaboratively to develop services and capabilities from fixed and wireless networks, including streaming video channels.
