Atlantic Broadband will provide video broadcast capabilities and additional technology support to the city of Miami for the upcoming Miami Beach 100 event, the city's 100-hour festival celebrating its centennial year.
The MSO has installed fiber optics throughout Miami Beach in order to broadcast live concert footage. The concert will air on jumbo screens located around the city as well as in the New World Symphony Hall and the North Shore Bandshell. Additionally, Atlantic Broadband will broadcast the concert for on Ch. 19 and offer other global cable providers the option to syndicate the music festival.
The MSO will also be providing backend services to enable eight WiFi hotspots throughout the city.
