Witbe Upgrades Video Monitoring for 4K

Witbe has upgraded its QoE Robot line of monitors to support 4K video set-top boxes. Intended to work on any 4K set-top, the upgraded versions are designed to perform lab testing and live monitoring to detect conformance issues such as black screen, frozen picture and jerkiness on 2160p resolution without downscaling through the HDMI output. They are designed to perform automated testing of live and on-demand video content (push VOD or streamed VOD) stored locally in the STB's DVR or hosted in the cloud.

Witbe's 4K TV solution is also designed to provide information on the browsing performance and the end-to-end service availability.
