Google Fiber ID's Next 4 Cities

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Fiber has announced plans to deploy its fiber-based, gigabit-capable Internet service in 18 cities in the metro areas of Atlanta; Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, NC; and Nashville. The company expects to start construction in a few months once the network design is finished.

Google Fiber also says it's continuing to explore bringing its service to the Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, San Antonio and San Jose, CA, metro areas.
