ActiveVideo and TransGaming (TSX-V:TNG) announced the availability of the on-demand gaming platform GameTree TV to pay TV operators worldwide. GameTree TV will be added to ActiveVideo's CloudTV software platform to integrate its gaming titles into pay TV operators' content offerings.
The combined solution is designed to deliver cloud-based HTML5 games to any set-top box or connected device.
Operator deployments are expected to commence in early 2015 and continue throughout the year with existing ActiveVideo customers. The revenue model will range from subscription to OEM based fees.
