Gigabit Comes to OR, MI

The municipalities of Sandy, OR, and Sebewaing, MI, are deploying Calix' (NYSE:CALX) E7-2 Ethernet Service Access Platform (ESAP) to deliver fiber-based Internet [http://www.broadbandtechreport.com/data/internet.html] speeds of up to 1 Gbps to residential and business subscribers. Calix says the two communities are the first to deliver gigabit services in their respective states.
