Dr. Anthony C.K. Soong, chief scientist, wireless research and standards at Huawei Technologies, has been appointed as a Platinum Board Director of the Open Platform for NFV (OPNFV) project. Established by the Linux Foundation and announced on Sept. 30, the open source platform is intended to accelerate the introduction of new products and services.
