Envivio Powers Cloud Multiscreen in China

Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI) has deployed a cloud video transcoding service in China for Beijing Gehua CATV Network. Envivio says the deployment is the first multiscreen video service offered by a Chinese cable network operator using a cloud solution, and the largest multiscreen cable service offered in China, estimated to reach 3 million subscribers in Beijing.

BGCTV is using Envivio Muse encoding software. Muse encoders are powering BGCTV's multi-screen service that offers BGCTV's 150 SD channels and 50 HD video channels to connected TVs, PCs, smartphones, iPads, etc.
