Infinera Deploys in Russian Multi-TB Network

Infinera (NASDAQ:INFN) and Akado Telecom, a cable operator in the Moscow region, announced an upgrade to Akado's Moscow backbone network with the Infinera DTN-X packet optical transport networking platform with Infinera Instant Bandwidth. With this deployment and upgrade to 100 Gbps, Akado has quadrupled its total fiber capacity.

Akado's multi-service network provides residential Internet, voice, and cable TV services, as well as enterprise services for businesses and government entities.
