Fiber-optic cable assemblies

Fiber-optic cable assemblies

Duplex plenum fiber-optic cable assemblies suit cellular and personal communications premises systems. They connect RF antennas that provide coverage throughout a building with cellular or PCS base stations via an RF analog fiber-optic link. Composed of two Microcables assembled in a figure-8 configuration, they are also used in the infrastructure of data communications systems where optical connectivity is required. The Microcable elements have a tensile strength of 180 lb. These singlemode or singlemode dispersion-shifted fiber types are stocked in lengths to 650 feet, with longer lengths available.
