Fiber-optic brackets

Fiber-optic brackets

Fiberboard fiber-optic brackets let engineers and scientists prototype most types of fiber-optic devices. They consist of two prealigned collimators connectorized or pigtailed with polarization-maintaining multimode or singlemode fiber. Collimators are 1.75 inches apart to allow insertion of any elements, including polarizers, filters, or passive or active devices, in their paths. Typical insertion loss is below 1.5 dB.
