Panduit blesses Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1000A for Panduit OneMode-Link installation certification

Anritsu says that Panduit Corp. now recommends use of the Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1000A to certify proper installation of Panduit OneMode-Link passive media converters.

Anritsu Co. says that Panduit Corp. now recommends use of the Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1000A to certify proper installation of Panduit OneMode-Link passive media converters. The certification test ensures the installation meets Panduit’s warranty requirements. The MT1000A features a Panduit OneMode button for the purpose, helping installers of any skill level to complete the certification process.

Panduit’s OneMode-Link passive media converter enables the deployment of up to 100 Gbps and greater transmission capabilities over existing multimode fibers by eliminating modal dispersion. OneMode-Link can transport 10 Gbps or greater regardless of the network topology, Panduit asserts.

The Anritsu Network Master Pro MT1000A, meanwhile, is a multi-function tester that can be configured with a variety of transport testing functions and OTDR modules that can be upgraded in the field. It offers what Anritsu says is an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) that simplifies the collection and interpretation of data.

“We are excited to partner with Panduit to provide a custom automated test specific to Panduit OneMode-Link installation test requirements,” said Daniel Gonzalez, business development manager at Anritsu. “The Anritsu MT1000A optical transport tester provides Panduit-certified installers with an intuitive, robust test solution capable of measuring and reporting a customer’s new Panduit OneMode-Link network deployment.”

“We are thrilled to have collaborated with Anritsu in developing this automated test for OneMode-Link. This effort expedites installation, as well as provides comprehensive and accurate results to give customers confidence that OneMode-Link extends the life of their multimode fiber backbone,” added Tom Kovanic, business development manager, Panduit Ventures.
