Rabii brings over 25 years of industry experience and says he is eager to drive growth.

On April 9, the Columbia Capital company Vivacity Infrastructure Group announced the appointment of Christopher Rabii as president and chief executive officer. Rabii will replace Lynn Refer, who is retiring after more than 30 years in the telecom industry, the last two of which have been spent leading Vivacity.

Rabii, who has over 25 years of experience in the digital infrastructure industry, will reportedly manage the company’s strategic direction, as well as the strategy of its operating divisions, including eX² Technology, Terra Consulting Group, and Vivacity Networks.

John Siegel, Columbia Capital partner and board member at Vivacity, said in a press release, “We are thrilled to welcome Chris to Vivacity Infrastructure Group. Chris brings a proven track record of top-line revenue growth, operational efficiencies, industry leadership, and invaluable expertise from his past positions. His strategic vision and deep understanding of the industry’s current and future direction will propel Vivacity Infrastructure Group’s business units forward with increased velocity.”

Prior to joining Vivacity, Rabii served as CEO of FiberLight, LLC., leading the company to growth and playing a role in the sale of the company to Morrison & Co. Rabii also serves on the board of directors of Skywire Networks/Xchange Telecom.

Rabii said in the same press release, “As I start this new and exciting opportunity with Vivacity Infrastructure Group, I’m honored to join a team of professionals so passionate about transforming network infrastructure. I’m eager to leverage my knowledge and experience to drive strategic growth and reinforce the positive impact Vivacity’s already making on the industry and its customers, especially during this transformational time of historic investment in digital infrastructure.”
