mDialog Awarded Ad Insertion Patents

mDialog says the U.S. Patent Office has recently issued the company two key patents: "System and Method for Delivering Content to Mobile Devices" (patent no. 8,539,523) and "Method and system for dynamically inserting content into streaming media" (patent no. 8,495,675).The '675 patent involves dynamically updating or modifying what ads or entertainment content is inserted into a stream at any given moment as the stream plays out.The '523 patent "System and Method for Delivering Content to Mobile Devices" involves combining mobile-centric information, such as location, velocity or altitude, with other audience-targeting information, such as program category, time of day, etc.
