Amdocs (NYSE:DOX) has announced two new products, one a cloud-based BSS and the other a WiFi solution.Amdocs' Compact Convergence on the Cloud is an end-to-end business support system (BSS) designed to reduce upfront and ongoing operational costs, while providing 24/7 support. The solution combines business support capabilities on the cloud with embedded business processes and operational support delivered by Amdocs Managed Services.The pay-as-you-grow model spans ordering, provisioning, service delivery, charging, billing and customer support. It includes real-time network interfaces designed to provide a single view of the customer from the device to the network and across all lines of business. It's intended to enable service providers to launch new offers, promotions and service plans in a matter of days with unlimited service bundling possibilities.The company has also introduced the Amdocs Wi-Fi Experience Solution, a pre-integrated WiFi control and monetization solution. It consists of several Amdocs network control products pre-integrated as a single WiFi system, including Amdocs Service Controller (AAA), Amdocs Policy Controller, Amdocs Subscriber Data Broker and a portal integration framework.
