At the CANITEC Expo in Mexico this week, RGB Networks will demonstrate products to deliver advanced multi-screen video services and advertising to TV sets, PCs, tablets and other mobile devices. The demos will be powered by RGB's Video Multiprocesing Gateway (VMG) and TransAct Packager adaptive streaming product.The advertising demo will team RGB's VMG with SeaChange International's Spot linear ad insertion system as an integrated multi-screen transcoding and ad insertion solution, controlled by SeaChange's Adrenalin multi-screen video back office. In the future, SeaChange's Infusion Advanced Advertising Platform is expected to integrate with RGB's VMG.RGB will also demonstrate its TransAct Packager, an adaptive streaming solution designed to ingest MPEG-4/H.264-encoded programs and create multiple versions of each encoded at different bit rates and then packaged in the Apple HTTP Live Streaming, Microsoft Smooth Streaming and Adobe HTTP Dynamic Streaming formats.
