Cheetah Updates Net Management Software

Cheetah Technologies has released its new CheetahXD 4.0 software to accompany its Network Tracker Plus product. CheetahXD 4.0 is a network performance management system designed to enhance a service provider's control over, and view of, activities occurring on its networks.The 4.0 release is intended to provide operators with advanced visibility and transparency through the Network Tracker Plus network performance monitoring device, which was introduced in November at Cable-Tec Expo in Atlanta. Network Tracker Plus provides testing and reporting capabilities for system analysis on analog video, DOCSIS data and QAM digital video channels.Other applications of CheetahXD 4.0 with Network Tracker Plus include automating semi-annual FCC proof of performance testing, performance monitoring of specific locations, real-time monitoring, workforce quality assurance, and long-term system analysis and scorecards at critical network health points.
