    ARRIS ha presentado un nuevo decodificador HD para el mercado de América Latina y el Caribe, el DCX525e. La nueva caja está diseñada para ser dos veces más rápida que sus predecesores, contiene cinco veces más memoria y cuenta con seguridad integrada.

    ARRIS ha presentado un nuevo decodificador HD para el mercado de América Latina y el Caribe, el DCX525e. La nueva caja está diseñada para ser dos veces más rápida que sus predecesores, contiene cinco veces más memoria y cuenta con seguridad integrada. Además del video de alta definición, el sonido digital y los servicios a pedido e interactivos, el DCX525e programable por software está diseñado para poder convertirse en IP en el futuro.

    Es compatible con MPEG-4 y SDV, y también utiliza un cliente compatible con el SmartStream Terminal Data Collector (STDC) de ARRIS y el ServAssure ALOHA Collector de ARRIS para recopilar de forma remota información sobre el estado del decodificador y de su funcionamiento en un servidor centralizado.
