Jones/NCTI says it has strengthened its mentoring and leadership training curriculum. The updated offerings include an Emerging Leaders Certificate program, intended to provide the broadband industry's frontline employees the tools they need to grow as leaders and advance their careers.

Jones/NCTI drew from its recent research on frontline retention and multi-generational learning to build the updated curriculum. According to the research, a clearly defined career path builds frontline employees' loyalty to their companies. Additionally, training with a personal touch, including mentoring, is the preferred style of learning for all generations in the broadband workforce.

The Mentoring and Leadership curriculum has been reorganized into two tracks, Change Ahead and Retention.

Change Ahead is designed to assist employees in proactively managing the change process, focuses on the importance of working with all groups across an organization, and offers instruction on how to improve communications skills.

Retention centers on conflict management, helping employees understand what creates discord and how to achieve a culture of engagement among employees. The series also highlights mentoring to promote value and connection to your workplace.
