Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) Business Class has launched two new packages intended for healthcare providers.

The first is an HD video offering for healthcare facilities to create a viewing experience similar to what patients would have at home. HD Video for Healthcare is designed to interface with most bedside pillow speakers and to provide HD video, free on-demand programming, an interactive program guide and the ability to pause live TV to hospitals, doctor's offices, long-term care facilities and other locations.

For the second package, TWCBC has partnered with video conferencing provider Tely Labs to create a home health monitoring solution to improve followup care for patients in their homes. The solution is currently under evaluation in patient trials for "Virtual Visits" - a telyHD video calling system designed to let healthcare providers offer patient followup virtually.
