Clear Creek Communications has chosen Espial's (TSX:ESP) Elevate Cloud software as a service (SaaS) solution to support its video services. Elevate is designed to support service provider multiscreen video as well as Netflix, YouTube and Alexa Amazon voice control.

"Our goal is to deliver a next-generation user experience to our customers. The Elevate Cloud goes beyond meeting our needs, allowing us to strengthen our brand identity while maintaining reasonable costs and illuminating an exciting roadmap for the future," said Mitchell Moore, President of Clear Creek Communications. "Elevate gives us the opportunity to deliver a rich and immersive video experience to customers across all devices, including set-top boxes, tablets, and smartphones. Powered by the cloud, Elevate will make it easy for us to support new devices and features that will excite consumers today and tomorrow."

Established in 1906, Clear Creek Communications is an independent communications cooperative providing telephone, Internet, television, wireless, security and home automation services to members in the Redland area of Oregon City, OR.

Other recent Elevate Cloud Deployments include Summit Broadband in Florida, Hiawatha Broadband in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and MCTV in Ohio. The platform is designed to capitalize on existing headend equipment, customer premises equipment (CPE) and the economies of scale and scope of web technologies. It also features analytics, reporting and a marketing engine.
