AT&T (NYSE:T) launched its AT&T Fiber FTTH Internet service in part of four new metro areas: Columbus and Macon, GA; Lafayette, LA; and Montgomery, AL.
The near-gigabit Internet service (typical downstream speeds are 940 Mbps, the company says) is now available in parts of 61 metro areas in 21 states.
Available plans include AT&T Internet 50, AT&T Internet 100 and AT&T Internet 1000. Bundles with video and voice services are available as well.
