At BroadcastAsia in Singapore, Envivio (NASDAQ:ENVI) is introducing two new products and demonstrating the latest versions of its existing line, which is intended for UltraHD, video processing, delivery and monetization.
Envivio's two new products are hardware platforms, the G6 and X1. The G6 and X1 platforms are intended to deploy Envivio Muse transcoding software. Both platforms use Intel Xeon Haswell CPUs for video processing and delivery applications. The G6 is designed to power large-scale operations. The X1 platform is designed for medium sized headends requiring a variety of input interfaces.
Other show demos include Envivio Muse video compression software; the Envivio Halo solution for the distribution, personalization and monetization of multiscreen video services; the Envivio Guru Network Management System; and the Envivio Nuage cloud-based video delivery solution.
