Registration is now open for virtual qualifying rounds in the fifth annual SCTE IP Challenge, which gets underway next month. Two virtual qualifying rounds will be held, May 10-16 and June 7-13. The Challenge features questions in six IP-related categories: Routing, Network Theory, CMTS DOCSIS, Internet Protocol, Configuration, and Multimedia over IP. The top eight scorers who are SCTE members and work for a cable MSO will be eligible to move on to the live semifinals and final at Cable-Tec Expo 2015 in the fall to compete against one another and the 2014 SCTE IP Challenge winner, Jamie Griffin of Full Channel.

The eight 2015 semifinalists will receive complimentary registrations to SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in New Orleans. The IP Challenge winner will receive one full-conference pass to Cisco Live 2016 and one full-conference pass to Cable-Tec Expo 2016, at which he or she will defend the IP Challenge title.
