Wave Broadband has been busy in the northwest, buying Seattle-based Internet service provider ReallyFast.Net and launching gigabit Internet service in Everett, WA.

ReallyFast delivers high-speed connectivity to residential and commercial customers in multi-unit residential and office buildings throughout the Seattle area. The transaction is effective immediately; terms were not disclosed. The ReallyFast acquisition is Wave's 17th to date.

In Everett, WA, Wave's CondoInternet subsidiary has just completed fiber construction and the launch of symmetrical 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps Internet speed options in two downtown Everett buildings, Library Place and Peninsula Apartments, and will also provide its services in the soon-to-open Aero Apartments. All three properties are owned and managed by Everett-based Skotdal Real Estate and total nearly 400 living units. CondoInternet has provided gigabit Internet service in Seattle since 2008, with service now available to more than 20,000 area homes.

Wave currently serves more than 420,000 residential and commercial customer relationships in Washington, Oregon and California.
