Elemental Technologies plans to showcase its product suite at Convergence India from January 21-23 in New Delhi. The company's show presence will include demonstrations of real-time delivery of live video content with Elemental Delta operating in the cloud. The company will also showcase a side-by-side comparison of 4K HEVC vs. H.264 encoding.

The company has also hired Jayant Changrani as the general manager and country head for India. Based in Mumbai, Changrani will be tasked with driving go-to-market strategies and revenue growth for Elemental's video processing and delivery solutions in the region. Prior to joining Elemental, the 25-year telecom veteran worked for NDS India, now part of Cisco.
